InvoCare is an industry leader within the funeral industry, we currently operate over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries and 29 crematoria, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and growing. The Regional Manager, Operations WA/SA will be responsible for Western Australia and South Australia Operations. In this role you will lead and develop local management teams to ensure operational excellence and drive continuous improvement in service standards while protecting our people, assets, and reputation.
The Regional Manager Operations will be responsible for:
Operations
- Strategic business partnerships working on large scale projects for national implementation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, reporting any potential breaches.
- Monitor, analyse and report on business performance, risks (incl HSE) and opportunities.
- Manage and coordinate funeral teams in the provision of funeral supplies and resources
- Manage the mortuary function ensuring strict compliance with InvoCare quality and safety guidelines
- Manage operations team performance with feedback, celebrate achievements and ensure that poor performance and behaviours are not appropriate/ accepted
- Work internally to understand staffing needs, advise on adjustments, and implement changes
- Asset maintenance and repairs ensuring resources are appropriately presented / maintained
Leadership and Internal Systems and Processes
- Be the role model for acceptable behaviors and standards and drive change initiatives within the team and collaborate with other business units to drive efficiencies and deliver improvements.
- Implement and where necessary, advise on adjustments needed to InvoCare policies, systems, and procedures
About you:
- Budgeting and P&L accountability for large operations (multi-site).
- At ease with death, the expression of grief and handling deceased people.
- Management experience in a service driven organisation
- Ability to manage large and diverse teams in multiple locations with a knowledge of HSE and ER leadership.
- Ability to manage rapidly changing service delivery and demands throughout the day.
- Experience in scheduling, rostering, and coordinating services and in assets.
- Current Driver's License.
- Funeral industry experience considered advantageous but not mandatory.
